Meet Our Core Three Candles
What I’m burning while writing this: Golden Hour
Hey, Jess here, founder of Golden Maison.
First things first, this isn’t a massive April Fool’s joke, and Golden Maison isn’t just another candle brand popping up in your feed. I created Golden Maison for the seasons of life that don’t always get celebrated. The in-between moments, the everyday routines, and the homebody moments soaking up your space.
As a mom still working to “get her pink back,” as they say, I wanted to create scents that felt grounding and home-y, even in a space that you’re still trying to nest or living in a body that still doesn’t feel like yours.
Something that reminds you that you’re doing okay, even when life still feels like a work in progress. I wanted a scent that feels like a FaceTime call with your long-distance best friend. The kind where nothing big needs to happen, but somehow you feel steadier by the end of it. I wanted a scent line that feels like figuring things out as you go, like when you're hanging peel-and-stick wallpaper by yourself and laughing when the bubbles show. Lighting a candle anyway, or a cozy kitchen moment straight out of a Nancy Meyers movie. Dinner is cooking, a nostalgic playlist is playing softly in the background, and the house feels a little messy but very lived in. So you light a candle anyway.

We’re launching with three core scents to start: Golden Hour, Daybreak, and Summit. Each one represents a chapter of my life. Moving has been a huge part of our story over the years, and with every new place came the same questions: How do you make a space feel like home? How do I make a rented space feel like "me?"
These candles hold pieces of those answers, and I’d love to share them with you!
Golden Hour
Golden Hour is my favorite scent. It's the one that feels like the best part of the day, honey-colored glow seems too good to be true, and everything slows down just enough.

Golden Hour reflects my time living in Florida, chasing the evening glow on the beach. That chapter of life held so many firsts for me: our first home, the early days of building my company, and learning what it meant to create a life that felt both exciting and uncertain at the same time.
No matter how chaotic life got in this chapter, you could find me always chasing after the sunset wherever we could catch it and wishing I could bottle the golden stillness.
This candle captures that feeling of warmth and nostalgia all at once. It’s the kind of scent that makes a room feel instantly inviting, like the moment when friends linger a little longer around the kitchen island or when dinner turns into a slower evening at home. If you’re like me and love to enjoy the sunset no matter where you are, this candle is your soul candle.
Scent Notes:
Golden Hour has top notes of Amber, Sandalwood, Fennel, and Cardamom.
Pairs well with:
Slow-living souls, soft jazz, open windows, a chill glass of white, and savoring the evening moments.
Who this is for:
Golden Hour is perfect for the woman who loves a home that feels welcoming without trying too hard. She’s the kind of person who keeps fresh flowers on the counter, plays music while she cooks, and believes that the best gatherings are the ones that feel effortless. Her home might not always be perfectly styled, but it always feels warm, layered, and full of life. Sound like you?
Daybreak
Daybreak captures the chapter where I lived in South Carolina, leaning fully into my coastal-grandma era and learning to slow down a little more. South Carolina is the chapter of fresh starts for me.

It’s where a lot of healing happened, both in big ways and quiet ones I didn’t fully notice at the time. It’s also where I became a mom, and where I slowly started learning how to pause again.
Daybreak captures all those feelings in candle form. It’s the reminder that you can take a break in the middle of the day just to enjoy your home, time with your little, your coffee, the light coming through the windows, or simply your routine.
Scent Notes:
Daybreak has top notes of citrus lemon, grapefruit, and fresh greenery.
Pairs well with:
Early risers, fresh starts, an ice-cold matcha in hand, and routines that feel stale.
Who this is for:
Daybreak is perfect for the woman who finds comfort in quiet routines. She loves a peaceful home, soft textures, and mornings that start slowly rather than in a rush. Her space is often filled with natural light, linen fabrics, and little details that make everyday life feel a bit more intentional. Sound like you?
Summit
Summit represents the newest chapter of our story. We moved to Colorado for my husband’s job, but this move felt different from the ones before it. After years of packing boxes, learning new streets, and figuring out how to make unfamiliar spaces feel like home, this time it felt like a place we'd stay for a while.

There’s something both exciting and vulnerable about calling a place your forever home. It means planting deeper roots. It means imagining what the years ahead might look like within those walls. Starting to actually build the routines and traditions that you always talked about.
Summit reflects that feeling of grounding yourself after a season of movement. It’s warm, steady, and comforting. The kind of scent that makes a room feel settled even while life is still unfolding around you.
Scent Notes:
Summit has top notes of Coriander, Vetiver, Bergamot, and Cedarwood.
Pairs well with:
Your daily rituals, matcha mornings, post-hike cool downs, and cozy cabins.
Who this is for:
Summit is perfect for the woman who lives life to the fullest. She loves a packed day out adventuring, but to come home to a relaxing space. Her space is often filled with hobbies, cozy blankets, and decor with a story behind it. Sound like you?

Candles That Elevate Even The Messy, Overwhelming Thing We Call Life
The simple act of lighting a candle at the end of the day plays a role in making a house feel like home.
Each scent carries the highs and lows of life, the homebody Saturdays, the busy Tuesdays, and everything in between. Because sometimes home isn’t something you find right away, it’s something you create over time, through routines, memories, and your signature home scent.
Golden Hour, Daybreak, and Summit each represent a chapter of my life, but my hope is that one of these spoke out to you and become a part of yours as well.
Here’s to the start of a new chapter of your life, Golden Maison candle lit in the background.
